Cascina Vano, Neive

Cascina Vano

Cascina Vano Farm works 10 hectares of vineyard in the heart of the Langhe, the famous wine producing area near Alba. Of this land, 5 hectares are rented and the rest belong to the Rivetti family.
Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato and Nebbiolo grape varieties are grown and, each year, five wines are produced: Barbera d’Alba, Dolcetto d’Alba, Moscato d’Asti, Barbaresco and Langhe Nebbiolo.
Thanks to their wide experience, gained over years of hard work on the vines, Beppe and Bruno Rivetti look after the crop carefully and with great success.
As well as working scrupulously on the vines, the father and son team pay particular attention to the health of the plants: they will only revert to chemical solutions in extreme cases when the vines are attacked by parasites, and then, only when the harvest is in jeopardy.
Thus, one can be sure that Cascina Vano produces great tasting, healthy wine from safe grapes.
